Fun Stuff For A Gloomy Day
March 13th, 2008 Posted in UncategorizedIt’s a rainy, drizzly, day here in the beautiful City of Trees and it seems things are very quietly stirring. I haven’t heard many tweets from twitter today, nor have I sent any myself. In fact my productivity levels are struggling to reach their full potential. Possibly because of the crappy weather and I can’t take the scooter out – well, I could, but riding in the rain kinda sucks ass. Now how the rain is keeping me from doing any actual work is anyones guess — actually I think it’s because this computer is still having troubles and keeps shutting down, I don’t so much want to commit to any “real” work.
So I’ve been creeping around online and found a few fun things I thought I’d share with the rest of you that aren’t doing quite as much work as you should would like to be.
First off is a couple fun things Paul Carew found and posted on his personal blog that I just want to pass along.
- The first is a Photoshop web tutorial that’s both hilarious and informative called “You Suck At Photoshop.”
- Then there is Fred & Friends. Silly little stuff that everyone thinks they need. I know I do.
- My friend GW Hopkins also has this silly little flowchart on his blog that will definitely succeed in wasting a few minutes and also get right down to the root of all your problems. Check out “Do You Dress Like A Douchebag?”
- And last – I think I need to buy this shirt. The nearly only exception where I would proudly wear a shirt with foul language on it!
If anyone has more fun (maybe even useless) stuff to pass along, I’d love to see it. Until then, I guess I’ll try to get back to making some sort of accomplishments I can actually feel proud of!
