Photo Freakout!
June 26th, 2008 Posted in UncategorizedOkay – So I am quickly becoming a huge fan of flickr with the thanks to my blackberry. I’ve also found that the blackberry actually takes pretty decent pics for a cell phone camera. With my “real” camera I have to upload the photos to the computer, which of course then I’m going to adjust them in Photoshop, then I have to upload them to the internet. Quite a few steps just to share some silly pics with friends. With the blackberry I can take then pic, title it, then upload it straight to flickr with one simple push of a button. Now I find myself constantly looking for great photo opportunities that I can share with my friends!
To make things even cooler, I can add my flickr feed to facebook, and other fun stuff. I think you can even subscribe to the feed but I haven’t gone that far as to figure it out yet.
So all of this brings me to the real reason I decided to spill this little blog out here…. a photo gallery. I recently found a cool little tool that you can supposedly add to your blog and it will automatically update a photo gallery with your flickr pics. Yeah. Cool. Hopefully I will get it working this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled! Also – if it does turn out to be as cool as it looks I will definitely pass it on!

Flickr and Big Huge Labs have some fun tools to use with Flickr. I’m a fan, myself, and have had an account for a number of years.

I was just talking to Phil the Barber. I was wondering about you. Do you still live in Boise? I use to be able to just run into you and catch up. If you are still in Boise we must go to Moxi for a coffee. Let me know.
